Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PocketFlow: Budget & Expenses ("the App"), developed by Elderlight Studio, handles information when you use the App. By using Envelope Budget Tracker, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Data We Collect
Envelope Budget Tracker is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not operate our own servers and we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or financial data on any external server.
- Budget data: envelopes, transactions, categories, and amounts you enter are stored locally on your device using a local database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it yourself.
- App preferences: settings such as theme, currency, or display options are stored locally on your device.
- Biometric authentication: if you enable app-lock with fingerprint or face recognition, this is handled entirely by your device's operating system (Android BiometricPrompt). The App never accesses, collects, or stores your biometric data — it only receives a yes/no confirmation from the operating system.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following Google services to provide certain features:
- Google Play Billing: if you purchase a premium upgrade, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.) — only a purchase confirmation token used to unlock premium features.
- Google Play In-App Updates: used to check whether a newer version of the App is available and prompt you to update, via Google Play's own update service.
These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
The App does not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
All budget and personal data is stored locally in an encrypted app-private storage area on your device that other apps cannot access. If you enable app-lock, biometric or device-credential verification is required before the data can be viewed.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data that leaves your device is the purchase confirmation sent to Google Play Billing when you buy a premium upgrade.
5. Your Choices & Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally, you are always in full control of it:
- You can delete individual entries within the App at any time.
- You can clear all App data via Android Settings → Apps → PocketFlow: Budget & Expenses → Storage → Clear Data.
- Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data from your device.
6. Children's Privacy
Envelope Budget Tracker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
